How does spirituality give us a useful practice when there are mood-altering drugs that can relieve anxiety, grief, loneliness, and depression?
In spiritual metaphysics, we teach that we have an executive faculty of mind that empowers us to make choices. Our life experience can sometimes be diminished if we are "asleep at the wheel."
Let your awareness be annointed with new spiritual activity. Let a quickening come upon you and renew your grasp of your own divinity. As Alannis Morissette says, in her song, "Thank U," "How 'bout no longer being masochistic? How "bout remembering your divinity?"
